i was one of the 8 kids in the school whose parents didn’t come get them
it was smart of them though lul: the school is a much sturdier building than any house ok
they started getting called to the office starting with science class~
it was my second day of 3rd grade…
Went downstairs to watch Popular Mechanics for Kids before school while eating cereal and saw the newscast about the first plane having hit, and then saw the second one hit the other tower. I called in my dad to see what was happening.
I then went to school. There was an announcement about it, but school continued fairly normally other than that. At recess, all we talked about was the attacks.

i can’t remember exactly
i was getting ready for school and my mum was watching the morning news in horror. i didn’t really get what was going on at the time, and i don’t know when it really sunk in what had happened. i remember that my next door neighbour’s son was over there and had been in the building earlier that day.
